Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

 

  • Agreement: Clearly state that by accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility for Use

  • Age of Majority: State that the use of the website and the ability to enter into a legally binding contract  (making a purchase) is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older, as per the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

  • Competence to Contract: Users must be competent to enter into contracts.

 

3. Products, Pricing, and Availability

 

  • Product Information: State that while every effort is made for accuracy, product images, descriptions, weights, and dimensions are for reference and may vary slightly (e.g., due to monitor calibration, the handmade nature of jewellery)

  • Pricing Policy:

    • Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in gold market

    • The final price charged will be the one displayed at the time of order confirmation.

    • Errors and Omissions: Aar kay Jewellers Reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or technical error. If a purchase has been made, a full refund should be offered.

 

4. Order and Payment

 

  • Payment Methods: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, Cash on Delivery, etc.

  • PAN Card Requirement: For purchases above ₹2,00,000 (Two Lakh Rupees),  PAN card copy is required as mandated by Indian tax laws.

  • Payment Security: The Company does not store full credit card/debit card details.

 

5. Shipping and Delivery

 

  • Shipping Destinations: Clearly state  the Company ships world wide. 

  • Delivery Timeframes: The Company is not liable for delays caused by the courier, customs, or force majeure events.

  • Proof of Delivery: Note that the customer must present a valid ID (like PAN, Passport, or Aadhar) to receive high-value items, especially for orders above a certain value, to prevent fraud.

  • Non-Delivery: Extra costs for re-delivery due to customer error will be borne by the customer.

 

6. Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds

 

  • Cancellation by Customer: A customer can cancel within 24 hours of placing the order, or before the item is shipped.

  • Return Policy:

    • "Return and Exchange window is only for 3-days

    • conditions for return - original packaging, unused, with original certification, not damaged, not altered.

       

      Refund Process:

      • Once the product is received the refund is initiated with in 7 Business Days 

       

       

 

7. Intellectual Property Rights

 

  • Ownership: Text, logos, designs, images, product designs, etc. is the exclusive intellectual property of Aarkay Jewellers or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

  • Restrictions:  Copying, reproduction, modification, or commercial use of any content without prior written permission is prohibited.

 

11. Amendments

 

  • Modification: Reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The User's continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
